Terms of Use (EULA)
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Knewplace mobile application and related services ("App") provided by Driftforge Systems ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Use of the App
You may use the App for personal, non-commercial discovery of local places, events, and curated itineraries. You agree not to misuse the App, interfere with its operation, or attempt unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts.
2. Accounts
Some features require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity under your account.
3. Auto-Renewable Subscriptions
The App offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play:
- Knewplace Supporter — 1 month, auto-renewing subscription. Price is shown in the App and on the store listing at the time of purchase.
- Knewplace Contributor — 1 month, auto-renewing subscription. Price is shown in the App and on the store listing at the time of purchase.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's App Store or Play Store account settings after purchase.
Any free trial or promotional period, if offered, converts to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends.
4. Content and Third-Party Services
Place listings, maps, events, and recommendations may come from user submissions and third-party data providers. We do not guarantee accuracy, availability, or safety of any location or event. The App is not affiliated with or endorsed by sports leagues, teams, or event organizers unless explicitly stated.
5. Intellectual Property
The App, branding, and original content are owned by Driftforge Systems or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.
6. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required by law. You may stop using the App at any time and cancel subscriptions through your store account.
7. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Driftforge Systems is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal data.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
